I am a programmer currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer working at the intersection of performance engineering and data infrastructure, based in Canada. Outside my work I like to contribute to opensource; I currently maintain tpchgen-rs the fastest TPC-H & TPC-DS generator out there and I contribute to Apache Datafusion.
Outside of that I spend a lot of time on experimental and research projects from SIGMOD contest problems, investigating how CPUs behave and all sorts of compilers.
In a previous life I worked on implementing cryptography libraries and numerical solvers in C++.
